On Wednesday, March 23, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal visited power engineers who have been working at the forefront since the beginning of the russian invasion
"Your work is not easy, even in peacetime. And now, when the enemy has attacked Ukraine, it is destroying our peaceful cities - you are heroically doing everything to keep the country alive, " the Prime Minister stressed.
The Prime Minister thanked the energy sector and presented state awards to the Kyiv Regional Network Service Center, who from the first day of the war had been restoring the transmission lines near Vasylkiv, Hostomel, Novy Petrivtsi - the hottest spots in Kyiv region.
"Under the bullets and air strikes, you restore electricity to the homes of Ukrainians. It depends on your work whether our cities remain alive. Due to your work hospitals, enterprises, shops operate," Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
The Prime Minister stressed that Ukraine and Ukrainians will always remember who enabled the country to be fully functioning during the war.
